Time to tell a new story
In 2016 we established the positioning, messaging and design language for the Plymouth Marjon brand (shown right).
Engagement and student admissions increased and the campaign ran successfully for 6 years.
But brands are like sharks, they die if they stop moving. In 2023 it was time for the university to tell a new story.
Plymouth Marjon is a disruptor brand
Community, attitude, and an alternative approach to teaching differentiates this university from other more traditional institutions. We wanted to dial this positioning up.
The new campaign features a signature M graphic, coupled with the confident 'We've Got This' headline.
High-contrast colours and energetic student images capture the 'Marjon Spirit', delivering visual impact, excitement and bags of personality.
Who’s Got This?
The attitude and assurance of the 'We've Got This' headline flexes to different messaging and touchpoints - from posters and exhibition stands to prospectus and promotional merchandise.

The campaign launched in March 2023. Initial feedback and response from the target market has been phenomenal, with UCAS student engagement up 70% year-on-year.
